The company is primarily engaged in the provision of water services, including water supply, sanitation and purification of wastewater in Spain. With registered head office located in Vilafranca del Penedès, Spain, the company was incorporated in January 1993. The company is involved in sourcing, transporting, potabilization and distributing drinking water, as well as collection and wastewater treatment; and the construction and management of water systems, distribution, as well as provides related services, including metering, and repair and maintenance. It primarily serves household and private customers in Vilafranca del Penedès, which is the capital city of the Alt Penedès and the most traditional and important wine region in Catalonia. In addition to Vilafranca, the company also manages the water supply of other municipalities in the county of Alt Penedès, including the preservation, replacement and improvement of the supply network, managing the water resources available, in order to maximize the amount and quality assurance in all population served. The company is a member of the Gestió Integral de Aguas de Cataluña (GIAC), which can only be partners with the wholly-owned public corporations that directly or indirectly carry out activities related to integrated water services and environment. It is also a member of the Asociación de Servicios de Agua de Cataluña (ASAC), a professional association of members that maybe all natural and legal people engaged in water management.
